    About

The World Ballet Company is bringing their production of The Nutcracker to Rochester, featuring a live orchestral accompaniment. This is a traditional take on the classic holiday ballet, known for its elaborate sets and costumes. Having a live orchestra elevates the performance, adding a layer of depth and immediacy that recorded music can't quite match for a ballet of this scale. This rendition of The Nutcracker is at the Mayo Civic Center Presentation Hall on Saturday, December 12, 2026. The Presentation Hall is a seated venue, suitable for a larger-scale theatrical production. It's a good evening out for families or anyone looking for a festive and visually rich performance.
