This Cookie Policy explains how Ticketsauce.com, Inc., operating NIGHTOUT at nightout.com, uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and pixels). It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies, such as your browser's local storage, work in a comparable way. Some are set by us (first-party) and some by other companies whose services we use (third-party).

2. Your choices

If you visit from the UK, the EEA or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies. Nothing optional loads until you choose. You can accept all, reject all, or choose categories, and rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time by clicking "Cookie settings" in the footer of any page. If you withdraw consent, the page reloads so optional services stop running.

Visitors in other regions can use the same "Cookie settings" link to turn off optional cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, although some parts of the site may not work properly.

3. Categories we use

Strictly necessary (always on)

Needed for the site to work, so they do not require consent. They include: keeping you signed in and your account secure; your checkout and cart timer; security and bot protection; remembering your cookie choices and whether consent applies in your region; and basic site preferences such as your selected city and recently viewed events.

Analytics (consent required in UK/EEA/CH)

Help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, for example which pages and events are viewed. We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused tool that does not use cookies, together with site analytics tools configured in our site settings. Reports are aggregated.

Advertising and embedded media (consent required in UK/EEA/CH)

• Google AdSense (Google LLC): displays ads and may use cookies to personalise and measure them. See how Google uses cookies in advertising.
• Partner referral tracking: we remember campaign and affiliate codes from the link you arrived through, and pass them to ticketing partners such as Vivid Seats when you check out, so referrals can be credited.
• Stay22: embedded hotel and location map on event pages.
• YouTube (Google LLC): embedded event videos.
• Spotify: embedded music players on performer pages.

Until you consent, embedded videos, music players and maps are replaced with a placeholder that lets you allow them.

4. Third-party checkout

When you choose to buy tickets, you may be taken to a checkout provided by a ticketing partner (Ticketsauce or Vivid Seats). That checkout is needed to complete the purchase you asked for, and the partner may set its own cookies under its own cookie and privacy policies.

5. How long cookies last

Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies and local storage remain until they expire or you delete them. Your consent choice is stored for up to 12 months, after which we may ask you again. We will also ask again if we materially change the categories we use.
