    About Wicked at Gershwin Theatre

Wicked continues its long run at the Gershwin Theatre, telling the untold story of the Witches of Oz. This Broadway staple reimagines the classic L. Frank Baum tale, following the unlikely friendship between Elphaba and Glinda before Dorothy’s arrival, exploring themes of friendship, prejudice, and destiny through powerful songs and a compelling narrative. This matinee performance on Saturday, April 17, 2027, offers a chance to see one of New York City's most enduring theatrical productions. The Gershwin Theatre is a large, classic Broadway house, well-suited for the show's grand scale. It's a great option for theatergoers looking for a classic Broadway experience, whether it's a first-time visit or a return trip.
