What the Constitution Means to Me

Heidi Schreck's acclaimed play, "What the Constitution Means to Me," comes to Montpelier. This solo performance blends personal narrative with an examination of the U.S. Constitution, drawing from Schreck's own experiences as a teenage debater and looking at the document's impact on women's rights and immigrant communities. It's a thought-provoking piece that navigates history and contemporary relevance through a unique lens. This Saturday matinee on October 10, 2026, at Lost Nation Theater offers a chance to see a significant contemporary work in an intimate setting. Audiences who appreciate incisive social commentary and engaging theatrical storytelling, particularly those interested in American history and civil liberties, will find this production compelling.
