Trainspotting the Musical

Trainspotting the Musical is a stage adaptation of the Irvine Welsh novel that brings the gritty, often dark humor of the original story to life. This production of Trainspotting Live has been touring for a while, and it's known for its immersive style, drawing audiences into the world of its characters. It's not a traditional musical with big song and dance numbers, but rather a theatrical experience with music woven into the narrative. This showing is on Tuesday, October 27, 2026, at Sheffield City Hall's Oval Hall. The venue is typically set up for larger theatrical productions, so expect a full stage show. It's a good fit for anyone who's a fan of the book or film, or for those interested in contemporary British theater with an edge.
