They Are Gutting a Body of Water

They Are Gutting a Body of Water are playing Union Transfer. The Philly-based band has been generating buzz for their noisy, shoegaze-influenced sound, often blending ethereal vocals with distorted guitars and driving rhythms. This show is a chance to catch them on their home turf as their profile continues to rise. This December 18th performance at Union Transfer in Philadelphia offers a good opportunity to see They Are Gutting a Body of Water in a larger room. It's a solid choice for those who appreciate contemporary alternative music with a heavy, atmospheric edge.
