The Very Hungry Catepillar

The Very Hungry Caterpillar show brings Eric Carle's classic children's book to life on stage, using a collection of 75 larger-than-life puppets. This theatrical adaptation captures the charm and simplicity of the original story, along with three other Carle favorites: Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?, Ten Little Rubber Ducks, and The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse. It's a gentle, engaging performance designed to delight young audiences and their families. This Sunday matinee performance on October 25, 2026, at DR2 Theatre in New York, NY, offers a relaxed setting for families to introduce children to live theater. The DR2 is an intimate space, well-suited for this kind of puppet-based production. It's a good pick for anyone looking for an accessible, visually rich show for preschoolers and early elementary-aged kids.
