    About

Cinespia is screening John Carpenter's 1982 sci-fi horror masterpiece, The Thing, at Hollywood Forever. This cult classic is known for its practical effects, bleak atmosphere, and a paranoia-inducing plot that still holds up. It's a prime example of Carpenter's distinct directorial style and a fitting choice for a Halloween weekend showing. Catch The Thing on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Hollywood Forever in Los Angeles. Cinespia events often include a DJ set before the film and a relaxed, outdoor picnic-style viewing experience on the lawn. This is a good fit for fans of classic horror, practical effects, and outdoor movie nights.
