    About

The Suitcase Junket brings his unique one-man-band performance to the Showdown Saloon. Matt Lorenz crafts his sound from salvaged instruments and a junk-percussion kit, blending blues, folk, and roots music with a distinctive, raw energy. Fans know him for his inventive songwriting and dynamic live show, which manages to sound much larger than a single performer. Catch The Suitcase Junket on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at Portland's Showdown Saloon. This intimate venue is well-suited for artists who thrive on connecting directly with the audience, making it a good fit for anyone looking for a genuine, handcrafted musical experience.
