The Shark Is Broken

The Shark Is Broken offers a comedic look behind the scenes of the classic film Jaws. This play imagines what happened on set during the infamously difficult production, focusing on the three lead actors stuck together on a boat, waiting for their mechanical shark to cooperate. It's a character-driven piece that explores the egos and anxieties of Hollywood. This Saturday evening performance at the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts provides an opportunity to see a recent West End hit in a local setting. Fans of theater, classic cinema, or those who appreciate a well-crafted comedy about creative frustration will likely find this engaging.
