About The Play That Goes Wrong at Kansas City Repertory Theatre - Spencer Theatre

The Play That Goes Wrong is a physical comedy from the Mischief Theatre company. It follows the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society as they attempt to stage a 1920s murder mystery, with predictable results. Expect pratfalls, missed cues, and a general dismantling of the set as the performance unravels. This production of The Play That Goes Wrong runs Friday, May 21, 2027 at Kansas City Repertory Theatre’s Spencer Theatre. It’s a good choice for anyone who enjoys slapstick, farcical humor, or a theatrical evening where things deliberately go off the rails.
