The Phoenix Symphony - Brahms Serenade No. 1

The Phoenix Symphony performs Brahms Serenade No. 1, a substantial early work that showcases Brahms's melodic invention and orchestral ambition. This piece, originally conceived as an octet, was expanded into a full symphony, offering a rich soundscape that hints at the grandeur of his later symphonies while maintaining a lighter, more pastoral feel. It's a chance to hear a foundational piece from a master composer. This morning concert takes place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the MIM Music Theater in Phoenix. The MIM offers an intimate setting for classical performances, allowing for a focused listening experience. This event will appeal to those who appreciate classical repertoire and the detailed acoustics of a dedicated music hall.
