About The Outsiders at Jacobs Theatre-NY

The Outsiders is a new musical adaptation of S.E. Hinton's classic novel, making its Broadway debut at the Jacobs Theatre. This production brings the familiar story of class conflict and youthful loyalty in 1960s Tulsa to the stage, featuring a score that blends rock and folk influences with a contemporary theatrical sound. It’s a chance to see how this beloved narrative translates into a full-scale musical. This Wednesday matinee on December 9th offers an early afternoon viewing of the show in the heart of New York's theater district. Fans of the book, the film, or new American musicals that explore coming-of-age themes will find something compelling here.
