The Laramie Project

The Laramie Project is a powerful piece of documentary theater, developed by Moises Kaufman and members of the Tectonic Theater Project. This particular production brings the play's unique structure, built from interviews and real-life accounts following the 1998 murder of Matthew Shepard, to the stage. It's a moving exploration of community, prejudice, and the human condition, often performed by an ensemble cast taking on multiple roles. This evening showing of The Laramie Project on Saturday, May 15, 2027, will be presented at The Ritz Theatre in Tiffin, OH. The Ritz is a classic venue, often hosting a mix of live performances, and provides an intimate setting for a thought-provoking theatrical work like this. It's a good fit for anyone interested in contemporary American drama, social commentary, or community-focused storytelling.
