The First Lady of Television

The First Lady of Television is a theatrical production celebrating the life and career of a pioneering figure in broadcasting. This performance explores the stories and impact of a woman who broke barriers and shaped the landscape of television. It's a character-driven piece, likely a one-woman show or a small ensemble, focusing on historical narrative and dramatic portrayal rather than a musical or comedy. This matinee performance takes place on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at Overture Center's The Playhouse in Madison, WI. The Playhouse is an intimate setting, well-suited for plays and spoken-word performances, offering a close connection between the audience and the stage. This event will appeal to those interested in theater, television history, and narratives about influential women.
