    About

The Book of Mormon brings its award-winning Broadway production to Springfield. This musical comedy, from the creators of South Park, offers a sharp, satirical look at faith and missionary life through the eyes of two mismatched Latter-day Saint elders. Expect a blend of irreverent humor, surprisingly catchy tunes, and a story that has resonated with audiences globally for its witty yet ultimately optimistic message. This touring production of The Book of Mormon plays the Sangamon Auditorium at UIS Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, February 10, 2027. The large theater setting is well-suited for a major Broadway production, offering a full stage experience. It's a good pick for those who appreciate smart comedy and polished musical theater, particularly fans of South Park's distinctive brand of humor.
