The Bad Plus

The Bad Plus brings their instrumental rock sound to City Winery. Known for their inventive approach to jazz and rock, the trio will likely showcase material from their recent albums, which lean into a more guitar-driven sound since the departure of their original pianist. Expect a dynamic performance that blurs genre lines and highlights their collective improvisation. This Wednesday night show at City Winery Pittsburgh offers an intimate setting for The Bad Plus. The venue's seated format and focus on sound quality make it a good fit for fans who appreciate detailed musicianship and a more focused listening experience. It's a solid choice for those looking for a sophisticated evening of contemporary instrumental music.
