    About

The Addams Family musical comes to Philadelphia, a stage adaptation of the classic characters. This production at the Walnut Street Theatre brings the familiar, macabre family to life with a score by Andrew Lippa and a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, known for their work on Jersey Boys. It's a chance to see Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester, and Grandma navigate a new, comedic crisis. This Sunday afternoon matinee on November 1, 2026, offers a good opportunity to catch the show at the historic Walnut Street Theatre. The venue has a long history of presenting theatrical productions, and this show is generally suited for audiences looking for a lighthearted, family-friendly musical with a gothic twist.
