    About

Sweeping Promises are in town, bringing their distinctive post-punk sound to the First Unitarian Church. Known for their lo-fi recording approach and sharp, melodic hooks, the band's live shows often capture the raw energy of their studio output. This is a chance to hear tracks from their recent work in a setting that should suit their dynamic range. Catch Sweeping Promises on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at the First Unitarian Church in Pittsburgh. The venue's often intimate atmosphere is a good fit for this kind of guitar-driven, underground-leaning rock, appealing to those who appreciate a direct and unvarnished live music experience.
