    About

Stepping Out at the Canterbury Woods Performance Arts Center is a theatrical production, a play rather than a musical. It centers on a group of adults learning tap dance in a weekly class, exploring their individual motivations and collective dynamics as they prepare for a charity performance. The show is known for its blend of humor and poignant character study. This matinee performance on Saturday, February 27, 2027, offers a chance to see a well-regarded contemporary play in a comfortable setting. The Canterbury Woods venue in Buffalo, NY, is a good fit for theater that leans on character and dialogue, appealing to those who appreciate a story about everyday people finding common ground and a creative outlet.
