    About

Studio Seaview presents a matinee performance of Spring Awakening, the rock musical based on Frank Wedekind's controversial 1891 play. This production brings the story of adolescent discovery and rebellion in 19th-century Germany to life through its acclaimed score. It's a chance to see a contemporary classic that continues to resonate with themes of youth, education, and self-expression. Catch Spring Awakening on Wednesday, December 23, 2026, at Studio Seaview in New York, NY. This afternoon showing offers a different energy than an evening performance, often appealing to theatergoers looking for a daytime cultural experience. It's a solid pick for anyone interested in modern musical theater with a bit of an edge.
