Riders to the Sea and Macbeth

The Irish Arts Center presents a double bill featuring two classic works, "Riders to the Sea" and a performance of scenes from Shakespeare's "Macbeth". "Riders to the Sea" is a one-act play by John Millington Synge, a powerful and somber exploration of fate and loss in a rural Irish fishing community. Paired with excerpts from "Macbeth," audiences can expect an evening of intense drama and rich storytelling from two distinct theatrical traditions. This special matinee takes place on Sunday, March 14, 2027, at the Irish Arts Center in New York, NY. The venue is known for its intimate setting and dedication to showcasing Irish and Irish-American culture across various art forms. This event will appeal to those interested in classic theater, Irish literature, and dramatic performances.
