Riders to the Sea and Macbeth

The Irish Arts Center presents a unique theatrical pairing with performances of Riders to the Sea and Macbeth. This event brings together two distinct works, offering a look at tragedy through different lenses. Synge's one-act play, Riders to the Sea, is a stark, poetic drama rooted in Irish culture, known for its powerful exploration of loss and fate. The inclusion of Macbeth suggests an evening of intense, dramatic storytelling, contrasting the intimate with the epic. This double bill takes place on Saturday, March 13, 2027, at 1:00 PM at the Irish Arts Center in New York, NY. The Center is known for its commitment to Irish and Irish-American arts, often hosting productions that delve into rich cultural narratives.
