Riders to the Sea and Macbeth

The Irish Arts Center presents a double bill featuring J.M. Synge's classic one-act play, Riders to the Sea, alongside a new staging of Shakespeare's Macbeth. This pairing offers a look at two distinct but equally intense theatrical experiences, moving from the stark realism of Synge's Aran Islands to the dark ambition of Shakespeare's Scottish play. It’s a chance to see how these foundational works resonate in a contemporary context. This unique theatrical evening takes place on Wednesday, March 10, 2027, at the Irish Arts Center in New York, NY. The center is known for its intimate performance spaces that bring audiences close to the stage. This double feature should appeal to those who appreciate classic drama and innovative interpretations of established texts.
