Riders to the Sea and Macbeth

This performance features a unique pairing of two distinct theatrical pieces. J.M. Synge's one-act play, Riders to the Sea, is a classic of the Irish literary revival, known for its poignant depiction of rural life and loss. This production pairs it with a presentation of Shakespeare's Macbeth, offering a dramatic contrast in scale and style, from intimate tragedy to grand ambition. Catch this double feature on Sunday, March 7, 2027, at the Irish Arts Center NYC in New York. The venue is known for its commitment to Irish culture and contemporary performance, providing an intimate setting for this kind of dramatic presentation. This event will appeal to those interested in classic theater, particularly Irish drama and Shakespeare.
