Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra - Requiem and Symphony

The Requiem and Symphony concert at Eastman Theatre brings together two cornerstone forms of classical music. This performance will likely showcase a powerful and emotional journey through a traditional Requiem mass setting, contrasted with the structured and often grand narrative of a symphony. It’s a chance to hear these large-scale works performed live, highlighting the depth and complexity of orchestral and choral artistry. This afternoon event on Sunday, April 18, 2027, at 2:00 PM is held at Rochester's Eastman Theatre, a venue renowned for its acoustics and grandeur. This type of program is well-suited for those who appreciate classical repertoire, large ensemble performances, and the formal concert hall experience.
