Radio Golf

August Wilson's Radio Golf closes out his Pittsburgh Cycle, a series of ten plays each set in a different decade of the 20th century. This production at Hartford Stage brings audiences into the late 1990s, exploring themes of gentrification, community, and the American dream through the story of an aspiring Black politician and his business partners. Wilson's signature blend of poetic dialogue and incisive social commentary is a hallmark of this work. This performance of Radio Golf takes place on Wednesday, April 28, 2027, at Hartford Stage in Hartford, CT. The venue is known for presenting compelling theatrical productions in an intimate setting, making it a good fit for Wilson's character-driven drama.
