Radio Golf

Hartford Stage presents August Wilson's Radio Golf, a significant piece from his Pittsburgh Cycle. This production offers a look into the lives of two Black entrepreneurs navigating ambition, community ties, and the legacy of their neighborhood in 1990s Pittsburgh. It's a thoughtful exploration of progress and gentrification, characteristic of Wilson's profound dramatic work. This Saturday afternoon matinee on April 24, 2027, at Hartford Stage in Hartford, CT, provides an opportunity to engage with a modern American classic. The intimate setting of Hartford Stage is well-suited for plays that spark conversation, appealing to those who appreciate character-driven narratives and socially relevant theater.
