    About

The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra presents It's a Wonderful Life, a live score performance accompanying the classic holiday film. This presentation offers a chance to experience the familiar story with the added dimension of a full orchestra performing Dimitri Tiomkin's beloved score in real time. It's a different way to engage with a movie many people revisit every December. This special matinee takes place on Sunday, December 6, 2026, at Heinz Hall in Pittsburgh. The venue's grand theater setting is well-suited for this type of cinematic and orchestral blend. It will appeal to fans of classic films, orchestral music, and anyone looking for a distinctive holiday-season event.
