Pinhead Gunpowder

Pinhead Gunpowder, the long-running East Bay punk outfit, is playing a rare show at the Roseland Theater. Known for their melodic but raw sound and socially conscious lyrics, this is a chance to catch the band, featuring Billie Joe Armstrong on guitar and vocals, in a live setting. They haven't played together much recently, so this performance offers a look at their enduring influence on the punk scene. This Wednesday night show in Portland is at the Roseland, a multi-level venue that usually offers both standing room on the main floor and some seating options upstairs. It's a good spot for fans of classic punk and those who appreciate the Bay Area sound to see a band with a deep catalog.
