Piano Battle

Piano Battle brings two classical pianists, Andreas Kern and Paul Cibis, together for a competitive performance. They each play a range of classical pieces, from Bach to contemporary compositions, and the audience votes on the winner of each round. It’s a chance to hear skilled interpretations of familiar and lesser-known works in a format that adds a bit of playful tension. This matinee performance of Piano Battle is on Sunday, February 28, 2027, at the historic Missouri Theatre in Columbia. The venue offers a grand setting for classical music. It’s a good fit for those who enjoy classical piano and appreciate a bit of audience participation.
