Philadelphia Orchestra - Strauss & Schubert

The Philadelphia Orchestra presents an evening of Strauss and Schubert. This program highlights two influential composers, showcasing Strauss's evocative tone poems alongside Schubert's melodic contributions to the classical repertoire. It's a chance to hear the orchestra interpret these distinct but complementary voices in one sitting. This performance of Strauss & Schubert takes place on Thursday, April 15, 2027, at Marian Anderson Hall, part of the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia. The hall is known for its acoustics, making it a suitable setting for a full orchestral presentation. Attendees interested in classical music, particularly late Romantic and early Romantic German works, will find this program compelling.
