Paducah Symphony Orchestra - Overture: In Conversation with Marcus Roberts Trio

The Paducah Symphony Orchestra is joined by the Marcus Roberts Trio for "Overture: In Conversation." This collaboration brings together classical traditions with the distinctive blues and jazz stylings of the Marcus Roberts Trio, known for their innovative interpretations and deep improvisational interplay. It's a chance to hear a dialogue between two distinct musical worlds, exploring common ground and new sonic territory. This special event happens on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at Williams Family Symphony Hall in Paducah. The hall is a fitting setting for an evening that blends orchestral grandeur with the intimate, expressive sound of a jazz trio. It's a good fit for those who appreciate both classical music and sophisticated jazz, or anyone interested in creative musical crossover projects.
