    About

Our Town is a classic American play by Thornton Wilder, known for its minimalist staging and exploration of universal themes like life, death, and the human experience. This Grand Rapids Civic Theatre production offers a chance to see a foundational work of modern drama, often studied in schools but rarely seen live with a full cast. It's a thoughtful piece that encourages reflection on everyday moments. This performance of Our Town takes place on Saturday, April 24, 2027, at the Grand Rapids Civic Theatre. The venue is a traditional proscenium stage, well-suited for a play of this nature, offering good sightlines for the audience. Those who appreciate classic theater, character-driven narratives, and plays that spark conversation should find this engaging.
