Other Desert Cities

Other Desert Cities is a sharp, character-driven play by Jon Robin Baitz. This revival brings the acclaimed dramatic comedy back to Broadway. The story centers on the Wyeth family and their adult children, exploring political and personal secrets that surface during a holiday visit. It's known for its witty dialogue and incisive look at family dynamics and belief systems. This Sunday matinee performance of Other Desert Cities at the Hudson Theatre offers an opportunity to see a nuanced Broadway production. The Hudson is a classic, intimate house, well-suited for a play that relies on strong performances and emotional depth. It's a good choice for theatergoers who appreciate contemporary American drama with a mix of humor and tension.
