North Carolina Symphony - Dancing in the Street

The North Carolina Symphony presents "Dancing in the Street," a program that moves beyond traditional classical repertoire. This performance is likely to feature orchestral arrangements of popular, high-energy tracks, perhaps drawing from Motown, soul, or funk to create a dynamic and celebratory atmosphere. It's a chance to hear the symphony's full power applied to a different kind of sound. This special concert takes place on Saturday, February 13, 2027, at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts - Memorial Auditorium in Raleigh. The Memorial Auditorium offers a grand yet comfortable setting for a large-scale orchestral performance. This event typically appeals to both long-time symphony patrons and those looking for a lively, accessible introduction to orchestral music.
