    About

The New Paltz Ballet brings their rendition of The Nutcracker to the Bardavon Opera House this December. This classic holiday ballet, based on E.T.A. Hoffmann's story and Tchaikovsky's score, is a long-standing tradition for many families. Expect a traditional interpretation of Clara's journey through a magical world of toy soldiers and sugar plum fairies. Catch this matinee performance on Sunday, December 13, at the Bardavon Opera House in Poughkeepsie, NY. The historic Bardavon offers a grand setting for ballet, making it a fitting choice for this festive production. This show is typically a favorite for families with young children and anyone looking to embrace the holiday spirit through dance.
