Mr. C - World In Motion

Mr. C, real name Richard West, brings his World In Motion show to Concord. Known for his pioneering work in acid house and techno, particularly with The Shamen and his Superfreq label, this set will likely explore the deeper, more experimental ends of his extensive catalog. Expect a journey through underground electronic sounds, reflecting his decades of influence on the scene. This Tuesday afternoon performance at the Chubb Theatre within the Capitol Center for the Arts offers a different setting for electronic music. It's an opportunity to hear a veteran DJ in a more seated, focused environment, which might appeal to those who appreciate dance music's intricacies without the typical club atmosphere.
