Minnesota Orchestra - Lunar New Year Concert

The Minnesota Orchestra presents their annual Lunar New Year Concert, a program that blends traditional Eastern melodies with classical Western arrangements. This performance highlights the orchestra's versatility in interpreting diverse musical traditions, often featuring guest soloists on instruments like the erhu or pipa alongside the full symphony. It's a chance to hear a unique fusion of sounds. This special evening takes place on Friday, February 19, 2027, at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. The venue's acoustics are well-suited for orchestral performances, providing clarity for both the intricate solo passages and the power of the full ensemble. It's a fitting event for those interested in cultural celebrations expressed through orchestral music.
