    About

Metalheadz brings a rare West Coast appearance from two drum & bass pioneers, Goldie and Photek. These artists defined much of the intelligent D&B and jungle sound of the 90s, and their joint appearances are a significant event for fans of the genre's foundational era. Expect a deep dive into the roots and evolution of drum & bass. This special Metalheadz night happens Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Public Works in San Francisco. Public Works is known for its strong sound system and warehouse vibe, making it a fitting spot for a night of serious drum & bass. This show will appeal to longtime followers of the scene and anyone looking to hear essential electronic music live.
