Men of the Deeps Diamond Sunset 60th Anniversary

The Men of the Deeps bring their powerful vocal tradition to Fredericton for their Diamond Sunset 60th Anniversary tour. This choir, comprised entirely of retired and active coal miners from Cape Breton, is known for their deeply moving performances of folk songs and hymns rooted in mining life and maritime culture. Expect a program that reflects six decades of their unique sound and storytelling. Join them on Friday, November 6, 2026, at the Fredericton Playhouse. This seated theater setting is ideal for appreciating the vocal harmonies and historical narratives these performers share. It's a show that resonates with fans of traditional folk, choral music, and those interested in Canadian heritage.
