Meet the Orchestra

Meet the Orchestra offers a unique chance to get up close with the musicians and instruments that make up a full orchestra. This isn't a traditional concert; it's designed to demystify classical music and show how different sections contribute to the overall sound. Expect demonstrations and perhaps some interactive elements, making the complex world of orchestral performance more accessible. This afternoon event on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, CT, is well-suited for families, aspiring young musicians, or anyone curious about the inner workings of an orchestra. The Playhouse provides a comfortable setting for this kind of engaging, educational presentation.
