Matthew Bourne's Cinderella

Matthew Bourne's Cinderella returns to Sadlers Wells, bringing his distinctive and critically praised re-imagining of the classic fairy tale. Known for his innovative storytelling through dance, this production sets Cinderella in London during the Blitz, offering a darker, more cinematic, and emotionally charged narrative than traditional ballet versions. It’s a compelling blend of drama, romance, and Bourne’s signature theatricality. This matinee performance on Sunday, December 13, 2026, at Sadlers Wells Theatre in London, provides an opportunity to see a modern classic of British dance. The venue is well-suited for large-scale theatrical productions, offering good sightlines and an immersive experience. It's a show that appeals to both seasoned dance enthusiasts and those new to contemporary ballet, especially fans of narrative-driven stage work.
