LVO Suor Angelica by Puccini

Livermore Valley Opera presents Puccini's one-act opera, Suor Angelica. This performance offers a focused look at Puccini's dramatic storytelling and rich orchestration, exploring themes of sacrifice and redemption within a convent setting. It's a chance to see a lesser-performed but emotionally powerful work from a master composer, presented by a respected local company. This matinee performance on Saturday, October 10, 2026, takes place at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore, CA. The Bankhead is known for its intimate acoustics, making it a good fit for opera. This production will appeal to classical music enthusiasts and those curious about the depth of Puccini's catalog beyond his most famous works.
