Louisville Ballet - Andrea Schermoly's Carmen

Louisville Ballet presents Andrea Schermoly's Carmen, a contemporary take on the classic story. Schermoly's choreography often blends classical ballet with modern movement, so expect a fresh interpretation of Bizet's opera, focusing on character and narrative through dance. This performance offers a chance to see a familiar story reimagined by a current voice in ballet. This matinee performance on Saturday, February 13, 2027, is at the Kentucky Center's Brown Theatre in Louisville. The Brown Theatre provides a traditional proscenium setting, suitable for ballet productions. Those who appreciate narrative dance and new choreography will likely find this engaging.
