& Juliet

The musical & Juliet offers a contemporary spin on Shakespeare's classic tale, imagining a different path for Juliet after Romeo's death. This production features pop anthems by Max Martin, known for his work with artists like Britney Spears and the Backstreet Boys, woven into a new narrative from writer David West Read. It's a jukebox musical with a book that explores themes of self-discovery and second chances. This Tuesday evening showing of & Juliet at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre in New York provides an opportunity to see the current Broadway cast. It's a good fit for those who enjoy modern takes on familiar stories and appreciate a soundtrack of well-known pop hits within a theatrical setting.
