Jon Spencer

Jon Spencer brings his raw, blues-infused rock and roll energy to The Sunset Tavern. Known for his work with the Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Pussy Galore, Spencer's solo output continues that tradition of gritty, high-octane alternative rock, often with a theatrical edge. Expect a loud, dynamic performance that leans into his signature blend of punk attitude and primal blues. This Monday night show on November 9, 2026, offers a chance to catch a veteran of the underground rock scene in a more intimate setting. The Sunset Tavern is a classic Seattle dive, a good fit for Spencer's no-frills, high-impact sound. It's a solid pick for anyone who appreciates loud guitars and a distinctive frontman.
