John Proctor Is The Villain

John Proctor Is The Villain is a new play by Olivia Dufault, offering a contemporary lens on the themes of power and accusation found in Arthur Miller's The Crucible. This production at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater explores how those dynamics play out in a modern high school setting, with students grappling with their own truths and perceived villains. It's a thoughtful piece that resonates with current conversations about accountability and narrative. The play runs on Sunday, January 24, 2027, at the Milwaukee Repertory Theater in Milwaukee, WI. This venue is known for its strong theatrical programming, and this particular show is likely to appeal to audiences interested in socially relevant drama and reinterpretations of classic literature.
