Jesus Christ Superstar

This December, London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane hosts Jesus Christ Superstar in Concert (Rock), a performance of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's classic rock opera. This concert version focuses on the music itself, presented in a rock format, which highlights the original score's driving rhythms and vocal demands. It's a chance to hear the full work with an emphasis on its musicality, rather than a full staged production. The show takes place on Friday, December 18, 2026, at 7:30 PM at the historic Theatre Royal Drury Lane. This venue often hosts large-scale productions, and a concert presentation of Jesus Christ Superstar here should offer a grand, immersive sound. It's a good option for those familiar with the musical, or anyone looking for a substantial live rock music experience in a theatrical setting.
