Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular

The Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular at the Minnesota Zoo is a large-scale, immersive display of expertly carved pumpkins, often featuring thousands of illuminated gourds arranged into themed scenes and artistic installations. This event transforms the zoo grounds into a glowing, walk-through art exhibit, showcasing intricate designs from pop culture references to natural landscapes, all brought to life by skilled carvers. It's a unique seasonal art experience rather than a traditional performance. This annual event takes place on Friday, October 30, 2026, at the Minnesota Zoo in Apple Valley, MN. It's a family-friendly, outdoor evening activity, best suited for those who appreciate visual arts, autumnal traditions, and a creatively designed environment. Expect a leisurely stroll through a beautifully lit, temporary exhibit.
